2023 Halloween Short Film Contest
You must create a scary short film that is 4 MINUTES OR LESS. You must include our two bonus rules listed below and will have 3 weeks to film, edit, and submit. The aim of this film contest is to encourage new talent, promote creative expression, and provide a platform for aspiring creatives…. And have the chance to win some money!
Who can enter?
Anyone can enter this competition. Gather your family and friends to be your actors. All ages are welcome!
Do you have a camera? You qualify! Even a phone camera will do!
When does it start?
The contest starts October 1, 2023 & scary short films must be submit by October 25, 2023 at midnight. Winner will be announced October 31, 2023.
What can I win?
$1,000 cash! We will pick one winner at the end of the contest based on judging criteria listed below and how well you incorporate our two bonus rules.
How to submit your video?
All participants must submit their videos by posting it to YouTube with the proper title format, listed below. If you’re video isn’t posted with the proper title format we won’t be able to find and judge your video! Making a YouTube account is free so if you don’t already have an account you can easily make one! Then email us a link to [email protected] with a link to your video and include your name and phone number. You must also be following us on either Instagram and/or Facebook to win!
